Adhesive-lined heat-shrink tubing covers cable and wire, and when heat is applied, it shrinks the tubing and, on the other side, melts the adhesive to create tightly sealed bundles. This product is great for protecting cable joints and terminations. The wall thickness is classified into double-walled heat-shrinkable tubing, medium-walled heat-shrinkable tubing, and thick-walled heat-shrinkable tubing.

The medium wall adhesive lined heat shrink is great for the environmental sealing of various mechanical, electrical, and electronic applications such as splices, connections, etc. The melted adhesive wall also creates a moisture-resistant barrier that allows the tubing to be used in wet environments. Also termed dual wall heat shrink tubing, it is used across various applications to protect, insulate, bundle, and provide strain relief for the cable and wire.
The adhesive-lined heat-shrink tube is made of hot-melt adhesive through amplitude cross-linking with polyolefin material. The inner layer of this product has the properties of fixing objects and waterproofing after melting and curing. In contrast, the outer layer has the characteristics of insulation and anti-corrosion, and wear resistance. Dual wall heat shrink tubing protects against corrosive and moisture environments while providing mechanical protection and electrical insulation using engineered adhesives. General-purpose adhesive-lined heat shrink tubing provides insulation, protection, and moisture sealing for many applications. The adhesive sticks to many rubbers, plastics, and metals.
